Esra Altınışık is a licensed clinical psychologist and serves as a Research & Content Development Fellow at the Khalil Center. She holds a bachelor’s degree in both psychology and history, and a master’s degree in clinical psychology. Apart from her for- mal education in psychology, she also completed both under- graduate and graduate degrees in Arabic and Islamic Studies at EDEP (Center for Excellence in Education). Her research inter- ests include exploring Islamically integrated mental health prac- tices, promoting family resilience, and advancing mental health within Muslim communities. Since 2018, she has been working as an adult psychotherapist and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
